I lost 70 pounds 4 years ago. Regained almost all of it this year. Has this happened to anyone else and is it possible to lose it permanently this time?

I messed up big time this year and got hit with extreme depression after a serious injury and a comeback of some other mental health issues. I medicated with food since I quit abusing drugs and caffeine (almost two years strong). I've been diagnosed with BED, but I can't do Vyvannse anymore. I'm in therapy now for that issue.

Is there any hope for me? I loved being slim. I was so confident and even when I ate unhealthy it felt good to not be bloated til I wanted to vomit. I want my self control back without the use of any energy drinks or coffee.

It took me 7 months to lose those 70 pounds four years ago. I want to do it again, but I fear my coping mechanisms. (Also I cannot do heavy cardio anymore due to heart issues).
