hi! i’m working on losing weight. motivation/tips wanted!

i’m 18 years old, 5’10 and 110kg/240lb. i recently got diagnosed with pre-diabetes. so i’m trying to change!

i’ve got a bad history with eating. last year, i spent 4 months restricting to only 300cal a day, but then binging 4000+cal at once every few nights. i jumped 45 pounds in that time.

i’ve been slowly working on a diet plan. over the last month, i’ve been cutting my intake down to ~1500cal a day, and i’m working my way up to cycling 15km/day (to university and back). right now, i can do 7km/day, so i’m halfway there!

my goal is to hit 75kg/165lb. i haven’t been that weight since i was 11.

i’m nervous though. i’ve been really overweight my whole life. my boyfriend of a year likes bigger girls, and has expressed concern that i want to lose nearly 1/3 of my weight (and that my boobs will shrink but whatever).

any tips for not falling back into fasting/binging? also, any motivation is much appreciated xx
