Sw 220, cw 200, goal weight 165 lb. 175 cm tall 22F
I have always been around 165 lb and been happy with the weight. But 3 years ago i was a month in the hospital, and lost the ability to walk, and was in a wheelchair for 2 weeks. I since then have had to learn to walk again.
After being able to walk again, i became depressed. I found it so hard not being able to do everything i had done before, and i gained 55 lb over the next 2 years.
When corona hit I started having a active job, working at a farm. I still ate like trash, and was still depressed. But the activity made me lose some weight.
In the fall i moved to a new town, to go to college. Here i met my boyfriend. He is the love of my life. We met trough tinder, where i have used more flattering pictures and like many do, said i like hiking and the outdoors. I was not to truthful to say i liked binging Netflix and eating till my stomach hurt.
Well, we hit it of, and he took me on hikes, and of course notice how out of shape i was. After we moved together, and when all classes was online, he also saw me most says on the couch, barly leaving the house.
Early this year, i asked if he found me attractive. After pushing for a answer i both feared and knowing, he told me he prefered a more active body and person. I have to say i pushed, and he did not want to Hurt me or shame me at all. He told me he had gotten a different impression of me on tinder and in the early stage. He wants us to grow old together and have a active life style.
I must say i cried after our talk, but i needed the eyeopener. I decided this time im going to make a change. I want to go back to the 165 lb i always been.
I talk a lot about my boyfriend, because he is my biggest support, and my MIL is a nutrition coach, and given me a lot of advice on how to have more energy, and lose the weight.
The change in attitude and change in eating started about 1 1/2 month ago, and i can see changes on my body, but the scale have not moved. Im hoping to lose the weight in maybe a year, but have no time set. I have been focusing only on my eating, and will soon start to work out. The only working out i do now is riding my horse 3-4 times a week, and maybe a hike once a week.
I just wanted to share my start, and any advice on work outs is welcome. Im hoping to be posting again when im back to 165 lb
