Is this right? (Calories)

I’m so sorry for the stupid question. I just want to know if I’m understanding this correctly! 😭

For example: If ate around 1500 calories a day, and my watch says I burned about 500 calories that same day, does that mean I only consumed 1000 calories that day?

If I continue to do this, as someone who weighs 120lb/55kg and walks roughly around 10,000 steps a day, would I actually lose weight?

I’ve been on a weight plateau for a while so I want to know if doing this will actually help me lose or if I need to take on an even stricter calorie restriction. I was doing 1000-1200 for a while because my gastritis made it so painful to eat but recently since I’m moving around/working and getting better I need to eat more! (Which is great for my health! lol) I just wanna know if I’m understanding the simple math correctly or if I need to be harder on myself to lose these last pounds 😂

Thank you!!! 🙏
