firstly, thank you to everyone on here for posting their journeys - whether day 1 or day 100000! I've been lurking for a while and always come on here on days when I'm feeling low or down on myself because your posts make me feel really inspired and not alone.
Secondly, I wanted to share that 98 days ago I decided to try out a 100 day workout program that I got access to through a family member who subscribes to a workout video online platform thing. I've been doing CICO since last may (SW: 245: 5'6": f) and when I started the program I was down to 220lbs and couldn't do 90% of the moves. I could barely make it through a 20 minute session but because I had a calendar up on the fridge I knew I had to do it every day.
Fast forward to today when I just finished the 100th workout and I feel so much better! I'm down 20lbs (which doesn't seem like a lot but bouts of depression + work stress, has been a real struggle!) and physical activity has become a part of my daily routine. The other day we went for a hike and I even JOGGED for 7 minutes straight!! I couldn't believe it! I've never been able to run for longer than a minute in my life! I don't plan to become a runner, but it just felt good to know I could.
I've still got a long journey ahead. But wanted to take a minute to share my joy :)
And now back to figuring out which fun program I want to play with next while I continue with CICO and coming on here for inspiration from you!
