"You don't need to lose anymore weight" - I'm still obese so I kind of do..

Just curious if others experience this, in my case it's a bit unusual since I used to weigh 450+lbs and was super morbidly obese, just recently I ticked over into the 'regular' obese category at 240lbs.

Now I don't know if people are just being nice or what but I keep getting people asking if I want to lose more and when I say yes, they say I don't need to lose anymore weight etc. And I think they're being genuine, which just really confuses me because yeah, compared to what I look like before, I look a lot better, but I'm still obese for crying out loud. Not even a little bit obese either, like I still need to lose 60lbs to hit a healthy BMI, which I have every intention of doing. Hell I'm probably still close to the average 'starting' weight on a sub like this.

It doesn't bother me they say this or anything, I'm just curious if others get this?
