I tend to get caught up in the numbers of it all.
How much I've lost. How much time has passed.
I always feel like I should've lost more. Should've lost faster. Should've done this. Should've done that.
Today, I'm just taking a moment to really be present.
Although there have been "breaks" and "pauses," I've been working on losing weight since January 2020.
I'VE BEEN TRYING FOR OVER A YEAR TO LOSE WEIGHT.
I didn't quit.
I'm STILL trying.
Lately, I've been feeling the leanest I've felt in a long time and like I've really recommitted to this journey.
Here's to sustainability. Here's to healthy habits. Here's to sweating. Here's to face and body changes. Here's to rich and full laughter. Here's to uninterrupted joy.
Here's to engaging in less and less negative self talk. Here's to every time I said no to something that doesn't serve me, and said yes to myself instead. Here's to saying no - in general. Here's to ordering small. Here's to driving BY the drive thru. Here's to packing your lunch. Here's to water. Here's to being your own cheerleader. Here's to working out when everything in your spirit doesn't want to. Here's to reaching step goals. Here's to staying close to calories. Here's to not being peer pressured out of your new lifestyle.
Here's TO YOU. Here's TO ME.
I'll see you at GOAL.
