Friends for the journey

Hi everybody, I’m Bayne, a retired college athlete after a short lived career. I wrestled at the D1 level for only a year before a car accident led me to quit the wrestling team and take control of my life. When I quit the team I was muscular, skinny and fit. The lowest I weighed was 134 and I honestly loved the way I looked. But now I’m teetering around 185 and I have body image issues. Of course the first 20 pounds I gained were healthy, and with the next 15 I was still in decent shape. It is the last 15 pounds which I really can’t stand.

I do have to give myself some credit, I am about 10 pounds down since the start of the new year and I can see results! The one problem is I lack accountability and motivation. That’s why I’m here, I just want to rant and meet people who are in the same boat. My goal is to be in a healthy weight, with a decent muscle and body fat ratio.

The problem is I have no idea how to do something moderately. If I’m doing something I’m going all in, that’s why I cut so much weight and was able to live for years. I’d eat a meal a day and workout twice.

I just want to learn moderation, know to he healthy, and how to be happy in my own skin. I want to lose 20-30 pounds and I’d love to meet some friends who have the same goals in mind!
