Hi I am a female about 150 pounds, 21 years old, 5”6 tall
I went on a deficit last year and started lifting, had lots of leg day and whatnot. My goal was to slim down but when I was lifting I just felt so bulky. My thighs looked so huge, and even tho I felt healthy I wasn’t getting the result I wanted.
This year I got back into the gym and am jump roping a lot and focusing more on cardio. Should I still incorporate weights and machines into my routine? I find them fun but my thighs got huge and muscular last year, which I did not like. I stuck with it for about 2 months and stopped it.
I am on a deficit now as well.
