For my entire life I struggled with being overweight, it doesn’t help that genetics messed me up and I developed the same bad habits as my family. I stepped onto the scale for the first time in forever and the scale read 200lbs. I broke down. I never thought I could get so heavy, especially for my age. That’s when it hit me, my parents reached nearly 300lbs and I never want to get that heavy. So tomorrow marks the day where I make changes to my diet (mainly watching what I eat), drinking more water, and slowly incorporate exercise back into my life. I need to make changes now before it’s too late, especially since I want to go into the navy after college. I will finally hold myself accountable. Any tips would be appreciated!
