Weight Loss for Everyone: I made some Christmas fitness/food rules and it’s changed my life

I made some Christmas fitness/food rules and it’s changed my life

I was really panicking about Christmas guys. Isn’t it silly? I was thinking, how will I resist all this yummy food and reject people’s amazing cooking? How do I not seem rude?

Step 1: I brought some small weights with me (10lbs each)

Step 2: I ate any food I wanted to try. I just ate a small amount of it and drank a big cup of water after

Step 3: I watched everyone else (all four of us XD) enjoying for awhile and realised that the food itself is not the reason I’m happy. The food was prepared so we could all share each other’s company. Not to be stuffed into me. Take a bite, enjoy it!

Step 4: my routine was this -

Wake up, do small workout with my babies (literally 5 mins of light weight lifting, planking and squats). Try to repeat this 5 mins after every meal. I also did it before bed. We went for family walks. I embraced the fact that it’s cold as all hell out there and walked a LOT. I enjoyed nature, I stopped complaining about it being cold, about dressing up my babies for the weather. And I started to WANT to go for this walk!

There are pictures of my progress in my profile. In currently 132lbs and 5’8 and I haven’t felt restricted or hungry even once. And I’m not afraid of the holidays anymore :)

Also, light weights are really helpful why didn’t I have these before?
