Feeling really overwhelmed, no idea where to start?

Title says it all, I recently saw a photo of myself that my friend took and thought yikes that’s horrible. I’ve always been very overweight but it’s honestly never really affected me other than in the self esteem department.

Lately, I’ve noticed little things that I can no longer do/have difficulty doing and it’s scary. For example, taking showers is annoying now, tying my shoes is annoying, I look terrible in photos, etc etc. Though I have always been very overweight I’ve also always been pretty active strangely enough. I work a pretty physical job where I’m on my feet all day and I don’t have a car so I walk everywhere. These little things I noticed made me question/realize that I hadn’t weighed myself in MONTHS so I ordered a scale and.....I’m 350 pounds.

If y’all could’ve seen the look on my face, I was completely shocked because I have never weighed this much before. Mid last year I was around 270 and THAT was the last number I remember seeing on the scale so you can imagine my shock. ANYWAYYYYSS, I have no idea what to do or where to start or how to start. I do know that my main issues are probably the fact that I eat reeeeally big portions and I don’t know how not to?? And I never drink water because I despise it due to my lovely soda addiction that has apparently ruined me. So if anyone has any tips on portion control methods and how to FORCE MYSELF to drink more water, I would greatly appreciate a comment or message!? Thanks guys—sincerely, someone who is panicking in the middle of the night and asking Reddit strangers for help 🖤
