Weight Loss for Everyone: After multiple failed attempts, I'm at a point now where it is now or never.

After multiple failed attempts, I'm at a point now where it is now or never.

Hey everyone. I'm 5'6 and currently sitting at 112kg. I'm 28 years old and I've been at a consistent weight of around 100kg over the last 10 years of my life.

I've tried to change my habits a few times over the years with little to no success. I'd keep at it for around 2 weeks (or thereabouts) and would then just go back to my mindset.

I feel like I'm at a critical time in my life where my prime as a male is early 30s. What spurred on this post was a photograph that was taken of me a few weeks back. I was about the same distance away from everyone else, but I looked bloated, no neck and my head looked huge and it depressed me.

I want to give this the best shot that I possibly can now, and this is why I've joined this subreddit, downloaded tracking apps, and have talked to friends who were in the same boat for motivation. I've started to count my calories now and I'm more conscious of what I'm putting into my body and how it affects me.

I am single, I feel like the one of my biggest motivations for me is to find someone once I am happy with how I look. However, first and foremost, I need to learn how to be happy with myself.

I'm looking to drop 25-30kg within 6 months (this is my goal before wedding season kicks in), I wanted some advice on what habits I should introduce into my life from those who have been in my current shoes.

Thanks for reading whoever stuck it out haha.
