Accountability check in!

I’m sure all know the old story. Loose weight, gain it back, yada yada (COVID did me dirty.)

3 years ago, I lost about 25 pounds. I never quite reached my goal weight, but I never felt more comfortable in my body. I also never felt more hungry, had more mood swings, or was more depressed.

Since I’ve gained the weight back, I’ve tried to go back on diet, only to find that it wasn’t working. I didn’t hate my overweight body like I used to. I just thought “being hungry sucks. Why am I doing this?”

Until a couple nights ago, I stumbled into a LOT of info about proper nutrition. And I’m ready to start again, properly feeding myself healthy and sustaining foods! I’m ready to go to the gym, drink more water, and eat balanced meals. I’m ready to change my lifestyle.

I’m not telling ANYONE in my life about this. This is a lifestyle change-I’m making changes slow, but steady.

Currently, I’m 5’6, 170 pounds. This time next year, I want to be 130-140 pounds (hopefully with some muscle too!!)
