This doesn't apply to everyone, but it applies to more people than you would think. It could apply to you. The one true path to losing weight is by cutting calories, which isn't hard by any stretch. All you need to do is eat less and continue to decrease your daily intake of calories to continuously lose weight.

Here's the thing, how much less you eat should be dependent on how well you can tolerate the lost of daily calories not how fast you want to lose weight. Too much less and you'll few hungry, angry, and all kinds of emotional. Too little and the results are slow to show, but that's the thing. You didnt gain all of your weight overnight, so don't expect to lose it overnight nor anywhere close to it. If you can lose one to two pounds a week, great for you. If you can't, take a step back and learn how to cope with your need for instant results.

Even 100 to 500 calories less a day will shed some weight. Slow and steady wins the race and offers a higher chance of you sustaining your new life when you reach it.
