Struggling to find a good therapist willing to talk about fitness/emotional eating.

I’ve (27f) been obese since I was 6 years old. I’ve been in and out of therapy for a couple of years now with different therapists. All of them have been very pro HAES (health at every size movement) and promote intuitive eating vs dieting. That’s great, but not so much when I’m trying to lose a lot of weight and develop self discipline. When I try to discuss triggering for overeating or unhealthy attachments to foods they have been very passive and just sit there and listen blankly or try to steer me to a “just learn to love and listen to your body” approach.

Those of you that have found a good therapist to work through issues involving diet and fitness, what did that look like? How did you bring it up and what topics came up?
