How to control binge eating

I have had a huge problem with binge eating, for as long as I can remember. I fell in a deep depression mid 2019 and put on 20kg (44lbs) in a year and a half going from 70kg (154lbs) to 90 (198).

My problem is I basically can't eat anything. I try to avoid buying "easy access" food and processed food so I don't get tempted but my meals end up really bland. Basically I only buy vegetables, carbs (pasta, rice...) and chicken breast. Sometimes I feel like cooking sausages, or using cream or grated cheese in a meal because I love cooking. But if I buy them what happens is I just end up eating like 10 sausages, a pack of cheese or just drinking cream straight. I never buy soda, chips or candy but I still find ways to binge eat, and limiting what I buy so much feels like setting myself up for failure.

Another thing is I had a bad childhood, pretty neglected and my parents were weird with food (breakfast was 30g of cereal and 200ml of milk for example and they bought quantities for like two weeks and if I ate more I didn't have any left until they shopped again). I've always used food for comfort, there's probably psychological issues making it harder to overcome.

I wanted to know how you dealt with binge eating, is there ways to still eat "nice" food or should I just buy what I know I won't binge?
