Hi everyone, I’m new to Reddit but not new to this page lol. I am 22 years old and I weigh 198 lbs. I’ve hated how I looked since I was little and was even made aware of my body since I was in pre-k by family members that still taunt me to this day. I’ve decided that I want to lose some weight but I need help. I have no motivation and don’t know what to do. I just want to look and feel good about myself. I’ve tried to restrict myself but I live in a judgmental home where if I go on a diet, I’m tormented for trying to change myself. I tried going vegetarian in the past and I did it for a while but I ended up stopping for some unknown reason.
I’m hoping someone can help me with some tips on how I can start to lose weight at home? My family doesn’t eat much veggies and when I’ve tried asking for more veggies, my family complains that they don’t like much veggies and only like green beans and cauliflower (but they are cooked in heavy oil and soggy).
