Hello friends,
I’m a 27f, and I need to get back in shape by September. I’m 160cm and I weight 84kg. I used to be thin but I had to take a lot of medications from early in life and gradually gained some weight. Two years and a half ago I was diagnosed Hashimoto’s decease (my body is destroying my thyroid) and I gained 20kg in three months with the medication. I stopped sport in school at 13yo for mental health reasons. So I’m also really out of shape and I have light asthma so I get out of breath easily with all the weight I gained. Thing is, I want to enter the police next year and the exams are in September. Sport exam is qualifying. Back in July I started walking a bit, 2kms every two days, then gradually went to 5kms. In September I started a new job and it was difficult to get in the new rythm. I got to a French boxing club, it closed because of covid. I have no motivation whatsoever to exercise on my own but I have no choice now. I need to get motivated, to get back to walking, and doing reinforcement exercises like I did back this summer, but I’m starting to get demotivated and depressed by the idea of not being able to do anything and staying in this body I don’t like and so out of health. If you have advices I would gladly take them.
Thank you everyone.
