From 239lbs go 178lbs in 8 months

So when I got pregnant I was 169lbs The day I had my c section I was 239lbs Today (my son is 8 months) I weigh 178lbs And heres the kicker: I only lost this weight in the last 2 months when I stopped stressing out about losing the weight! I was so absolutely distraught at how much weight I gained that I was stress out so hard I wouldn't eat for days. I thought I was eating all healthy foods so why am I not losing it? Stress and PORTIONS! The last 2 months my son has been having so many milestones that I forget about my weight im so focused on him. I stopped paying attention or thinking about food altogether. I would eat breakfast and dinner with my husband and son but throughout the day I thought about him only. So what I ate wasn't "a huge healthy meal" I thought I needed anymore, it was a small snack throughout the day like mixed nuts. At dinner and breakfast I focused on his eating so much that my portions became smaller (I always struggled with overeating).

Moral of the story:losing weight and being healthy is great but don't let it affect your entire life! Find something to distract you from food so its not the biggest thing in your mind.
