Educate me on OMAD, please!

Hey!

So, this seems to be a concept I find myself gravitating towards: I eat one big meal per day, and for the rest of the day, I keep snacking smaller stuff - nuts, a yogurt, or fruit. I guess I'm in solid shape, I'm not looking to specifically reduce my food intake, but I find, the older I get, the more this concept fits with my time management and my personal preferences and inclinations. I'll probably consult my family doctor after the holidays as to possible caveats, but I'd like to read up on the issue before I do that.

What (possibly unbiased) sources can you recommend me? What are your own experiences with the concept?

Thank you!
