I'm not sure what my flair says right now so it may not be accurate, but I hit a 26lb loss at 190 at the beginning of September, and i have been within literally ONE pound of that ever since. Just one. Every now and then it'll take a peak at 189 and one time it looked at 191, but for the most part, I've been going strong at 190.
I went back through my diary on MFP and I only went over my calories beyond maintenance once, and even then it was only by 300 calories or so. My TDEE based on my current activity level (which is at least 30 minutes of brisk aerobics for 3-5 days out of the week, usually 4) and is about 2400 calories (I'm 30, female, and about 5'4 for reference), and my goal is 1790 but for the most part I'm always within a hundred calories of that. This month I went over significantly 2 or 3 times, but like I said before, only really went over maintenance once and the other two times I went over I still didn't hit maintenance calories. The only thing I can think of here is maybe I've been a little loosey-goosey about my measuring/weighing and having too many bites/tastes of things. I've been trying to be better about logging things like cooking oil or other fats when cooking, but to be honest I rarely use more than a couple of measured tablespoons at a time and my recipes are always at least 4 servings so somehow I don't think that would affect me that much. I do measure things that I know are high in caloric value like butter, mayo, or peanut butter for instance, but i often don't count things like spices bc I figure they don't have enough calories in them to make a huge dent in my deficit. Honestly, even being more loose with measuring and "tasting" things, I dont feel like its been enough to knock me out of a deficit. But maybe I'm wrong!
For the most part I've been working out at least 4 days a week and I try to take walks on my breaks at work. But I live on the west coast, so some of my working out/walking got messed up because of the smoke over the last couple of weeks, but the only real difference was one week I worked out 3 times instead of 4 and skipped my walking breaks. Again, not really enough to hinder my progress (at least to me).
So, basically, I feel like I'm not doing anything "wrong" and yet my weight is just not going anywhere. Its so discouraging! But I'm not going to give up, I'm too far into it to give up now. But any advice/insight on what might be the problem is helpful.
Thanks!
