So I’ve spent years in and around trying to cut, then end up back on etc as I’ve always moved around work/houses. Bought my first place and at 26, time to get into some comfortable shape and make it last.

I play rugby to a semi-decent standard and I lift 2/3 times a week (just got back into this after 6 months off) so this is just to be healthier and to help improve my sport.

Plans :

  • 95kg to 79kg (209lbs to 175lbs) is obviously huge, so I don’t think it’s going to be done in one big aggressive cut. Tips?

  • I’m going to try 1900 cals NTD and 2100 cals TD. A mental reward for training, even during this lockdown period.

  • I have a little gym at home with an exercise bike, plus obviously the current “daily exercise” the government is allowing.

Guess I’m doing this mostly for something to hold me accountable and just for general advice too? It’s probably going to take a good 4/5 months, but it needs doing.
