Started dieting at the begining of January because Im worried that I might have diabetes. I was thirsty and hungry all the time, there was protein in my pee, and I keep drinking a lot of water. Hid it from my mom for awhile, so I thought that I can just not eat rice. Eventually by the end of febuary my mom asked to check my blood sugar and Voila its 396. Freaked me out completely, so I had to fast and completely cut out sugar from my life and now reduce amount of carbs to almost 0. Yesterday, my blood sugar is 102 (as soon as I woke up) and today it became 118. Im scared that Im gonna be complacent and Id gain weight and increase my blood sugar again. I have a bit of an addiction to food and when I'm stressed, I eat. The covid19 virus is a lot of stress lately and I've notice an increase on the food I eat. I normally eat healthy food or if not, just the meat (canned goods). I know I need to stop eating but it's like I cant stop. Its like when you know youre not supposed to touch wet paint but do it anyway. Im so stressed about this right now, so Im craving food so much.
