Posted from phone. Forgive formatting. I've always struggled with my weight loosing and gaining in an upwards weight spiral.
I've done sw/diets in the past and never had the willpower to stick to it. Recently I decided to try and focus more on fitness and healthy eating than pounds and hope that the pounds would fall off as fitness improved.
This seemed to be working, I was getting fitter and the inches were reducing and in the last few months I'd lost almost a stone. Weightloss was still very slow dues to not being the best at the gym but also I think related to me having hypothyroidism.
However, the last 3.5 weeks I've been away for work, offshore on a ship. In this time I've put in about 1 stone and am so disgusted. I know it's due to a lack of exercise and also due to the food they serve on the ship, which is calorific and plentiful. Also as I'm on night shift and work 12 hour shift I'm awake a lot longer, meal times are different and I had to switch the time I was taking thyroid meds.
I feel disgusted and don't know where to go from here or how to get back to routine once I get home.
