Finally ready to lose some excess weight that I gained due to some medical problems I had this year! This is the first time I feel confident enough in myself to not spiral back into an eating disorder. Wish me luck!

I had a pretty bad eating disorder when I was a young adult, but I have been having a healthy mindset about food for a couple of years and I looked healthy, too! However, some recent health problems have caused me to gain fifteen pounds, and although that isn't much, I can't fit in my old clothes anymore and I feel more out of breath than I used to before. So, I decided, for the first time in four years, to watch what I eat! I feel confident, sure of myself, careful and I know I won't let myself spiral into my old habits. I will just move around a bit, try to listen to my hunger cues, and hopefully make it within a few months! I'm planning to lose half a kg a week, because, in my case, slow and steady wins the race. I want to gain back control over my body! My hormonal problems and covid won't take control over my health the way my eating disorder did. Wish me luck!
