Hi everyone, I’m new here. Im wondering if anyone has any tips on how to not give in to sugar cravings. Im a normal weight, but 100% a sugar addict. I’m currently 5’3, 131 pounds. Earlier this year I started out at 145 pounds, and my highest weight ever was 197 but that was around 5 years ago. I’m proud of the weight that I’ve lost, but not necessarily the way I’ve done it. I was only eating around 1200-1300 calories a day, but not watching what I eat at all. I would, and still do, regularly fast for the whole day, then binge on 1200 calories worth of cookies or ice cream. I want to change so badly, and tell myself that I’m going to avoid sugar today, but then I end up giving in. I would really like to get down to 115 pounds and put on some muscle, since I’m skinny-fat at the moment. Diabetes doesn’t run in my family, but it’s still something that’s been on my mind quite a bit lately, considering how my diet is and how I don’t exercise. I also have quite a few PCOS symptoms (though I’ve never been tested for it), which also worries me, considering that PCOS puts women at an even higher risk for diabetes. I would be very grateful if anyone could give me some advice for sugar cravings. Thank you
