When will the water retention stop? (Just started highly physical job)

(22F, SW:158 CW:148 GW:130) Hey all, I’m two weeks into my new job as an archaeologist, which is very physical (imagine digging holes all day and bushwhacking about 10km a day hauling shovels and equipment) and am hoping for some help with insight into my scale trends. I dropped from 148 to 145 strangely quickly in the first week (about a pound per day when I weighed first thing in the morning), but my second week I’ve stayed constant at 148 every morning. I’m wondering if this strangeness is all water retention or something? I just want to know when I can get back to 145 and continue the downward trend of the first week. Would it maybe have to do with the fact that this week was extremely hot (like 30c/ 90f every day)? I’ve been eating extremely healthily, no real change from my regular diet but I am now drinking at least 3 litres of water per day. Any help appreciated! Thanks!
