This isn't a huge change in the grand scheme of things, but I've had a bunch of friends telling me that I look like I've lost a bunch of weight lately. I had a hard time seeing it myself until I did side-by-side pictures of me from when I first started loosely dieting and exercising compared to now. According to my scale, my fat free body weight is about 187lbs at 6'6" tall. Starting body fat was 27.2, now at 22.8 and a muscle mass of 177lbs. No idea how accurate the Renpho scales are, but that's all the info I got for now.
Since quarantine started, I started back up with intermittent fasting. I used to be great at doing it (to the point of eating disorders when I was in my teens, but those extremities have been long fixed). I've also been doing a lot more yardwork outside, lifting some weights at home, walking, playing basketball, and riding a stationary bike. Depending on the day, I usually eat only 1 big meal a day and have some small snacks to supplement. I'll eat my first snack as early as 2PM, or as late as 5PM. My biggest weight contributor was alcohol. Being my size, I can put down a serious amount of alcohol with minimal buzz so I end up drinking more. I've toned this back to lighter calorie drinks, as well as less alcohol now compared to before.
So far, I'm down more than I thought I would be given the circumstance. I still have a ways to go, but I cant wait to look at the next side-by-side pictures when I hit that goal to see how far I've come.
