I use to have a binge problem with leftovers

I just noticed that I have pretty much have this addiction towards any foods that's been leftover from dinner. My mom will buy 2 large pizzas just to get value for her money. I always hate when she does this because then that means that I will basically binge on a whole pizza. The thing is, my mom will only eat about 4 slices then stops when she gets sick. Then she never eats pizza again till the next time she wants it. Pretty much enabling me to each all of it myself. Pizza is one of my favorite foods and, honestly I would always eat a slice even if I wasn't hungry. I hate myself afterwords. When my mom decides to make spagehtti, she makes enough for an army and expects me to eat it so it doesn't stay in the fridge until it goes bad. (talk about toxic) I never understood as to why she always cooked so much food. I think it's just out of pure laziness so she doesn't have to do math. So she just dumps the whole box of noodles and two jars of sause, along with beef ect..

What irritates me the most is that the food on the market tends to have large amounts of food in one box. A typical box of crunchy taco shells, has 12 when the serving size is only two. I managed to pursuade my mom to get the ones with 10. I'd get even less but unfortuneyly, they don't sell them in any less quantity. Which leaves me frustrated. My mom also loves those family packs of TV dinners. Super unhealthy...

My solution? Simply storing everything away in the freezer. Just put it in a freezer zip lock bag and store it in the back. Out of sight, out of mind right? Then when another day comes along when you're in the mood to have it for dinner, just reheat it. As simple as this idea is, I just never thought about until a couple of weeks ago. This method works extremely well when you're living under the same roof as an enabler. You don't eat all of it and, then save the rest next time for the both of you. It also saves you money on groceries. Bonus!
