Day 0, lifestyle changes

Hello all! New here! Advice is very much welcome!

Today is my day 0, where I make the jump to start consciously losing weight and bettering myself. I am a 257lbs (probably more tbh, but that was last time I had access to a scale) and 5'4" female.

I have a lot of issues with my diet and losing weight, some mental, some financial, and some ransom ones. For example, I have quite a few in my household who absolutely refuse to eat vegetables (adults, not kids, but I haven't had any luck with getting them to eat. I'm going to have to try cooking my meals separate probabaly). I have some sort of undiagnosed digestive disorder that makes long periods of exercise and certain types of veggies very bad experiences. The tap water around where I live is not drinkable, and boiling won't change it T.T

We are moving in as little as one month, and i want to try to build better habits at the new place. New place=new routines for me, and I'm hoping I can see a new me. We are expanding our mini farm into a permaculture garden, and I'm super excited about it. But it will need a lot of work, and right now I am unable to do it. This is my dream, to be able to sustain myself and my household, and to live healthily and happily on our farm.

My goals for the next 2 months are to 1.) Stop drinking so much soda/sugary drinks. My goal is 2 sodas per month at the end of 4 months. This is down from 4+ very large sodas every day. 2.) Find ways to incorporate vegetables and fruits into my diet while still cooking for a household of 7. I will probably need to cook my meals separately after everyone else eats. 3.) Work on my muscle/endurance/cardio health. I am having major problems deciding on a goal here though. I'm going to try and lessen the amount of time I am on my butt and instead try to be more active walking around and packing for a big move in a couple weeks.

Does anyone have a good diet app/app that counts up days on the challenge? Or should I just post an update comment here? This is the first time I've really tried to better myself, so I'm kind of lost on how to do it. Sorry if I'm kind of rambling.

Thank you so much!
