(21 F) So I’ve struggled with my weight for all my life. I love food, and I’ve been bullied a lot growing up. This year, in February, I could finally afford going to the gym. I hadn’t weighed myself for a long time and when I saw that number I must admit I was shocked: I was 90kg/198lbs, the heaviest I had ever been. I wanted to change, so I started eating less and better, tracking calories and trying to be more active, even during the lockdown.
I tried to focus more on how I felt than how I looked, but this morning I noticed one of my shirts fitted differently, so I stepped on the scale and holy smokes! I lost 4,5kg/10lbs! I had never been able to lose so much!! I also measured myself and I lost about 4cm/1,5in all over (except my arms)!!
I feel stronger, healthier and super motivated to keep going, and super happy to be going back to the gym!
And to everyone feeling down:it’s okay, everybody is different and sees progress differently, just keep going!
