Hi All! After lurking in the group for a bit, I thought I'd reach out for some help, I am struggling and I don't know what to do. This is my first post, sorry if it's a bit all over.
I'm overweight, so decided to finally do something about it. I'm female, 5ft5, 11 stone 12 pounds and 35.7% body fat. My starting weight was 12 stone 3 pounds. I started my journey 15/05/20. I feel insanely disappointed.
I've been trying to figure out my BMR, I believe it's between 1,426 - 1552 cals a day to maintain, I used a bunch of different BMR calculators, if somebody has a solid way of checking please let me know ๐
I have started working out 5 days a week, for 20-60 mins. And sometimes I'll go for a 20-60 min walk later in the day. My workouts consist of a mix of Chloe Ting's workouts on YouTube, spin bike, a little bit of weight lifting, and HIIT, all at home of course. I am consistent with my workouts, I do them when I wake up on an empty stomach.
I use my fitness pal, weigh my food, and eat good, home cooked foods, I'm pescatarian, my calorie intake per day is 1,550 cals or less. I am also intermittently fasting, 11am-7pm, or there abouts, sometimes I fast for longer.
I am not losing weight, I did at first, but for the last 3 weeks nothing has shifted, in fact I have gained slightly. What on earth am I doing wrong? I'm working so hard, but not getting any results?
The only thing I can think of... am I doing too much and not eating enough? I'm terrified of eating more than I need.
If somebody could please put me out of my misery I'd be so greatful for any help. ✌️
