Back at Onederland and going strong!

Two and a half years ago I got a job as an EMT working in a busy city weighing 200 pounds. Everyone has heard of the freshmen 15, but no one tells you about the EMS 40...well I almost got there. At the start of the year I was 225, never having dipped below 200 since I started the job.

Recently, I got into graduate school and applied for a Navy scholarship to help pay for it and secure a job for after graduation. Unfortunately, the recruiter said I needed to drop to 175 to be considered. Woah boy. I almost gave up then and there! Decided, fuck it! I’ve lost tons of weight in the past, only to put it back on (a classic tale). So I bang IF and running/hiking a lot more. That was the beginning of May when I clocked in at 215. This morning I weighed 199.3 for the first time since 2018!

I know I still have a ways to go but damn this feels good! Thanks for all the support from this page, it has seriously helped me progress so much more than I thought possible! Loseit, you’re fucking awesome.
